Healthcare Compliance & HIPAA Privacy Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee organizational compliance with HIPAA Privacy, Security, Breach Notification Rules, and HITECH statutory mandates.
- Conduct healthcare compliance risk assessments, Business Associate Agreement (BAA) evaluations, and security posture audits.
- Manage internal investigations for potential Protected Health Information (PHI) disclosures and submit OCR breach notifications.
- Design and deliver mandatory annual healthcare compliance, fraud/abuse, and code of conduct education for all organizational personnel.
What We Are Looking For
- Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) from HCCA.
- 5+ years of healthcare regulatory compliance, privacy officer, or healthcare legal counsel experience.
- Thorough command of HIPAA / HITECH regulations, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), and OIG Compliance Program Guidance.
- Proven leadership in handling government audits, regulatory inquiries, and internal compliance hotlines.
