Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integration, maintenance, and optimization of Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) systems (Epic, Cerner).
- Design clinical data exchange workflows adhering to HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, and HIPAA compliance mandates.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and clinical department heads to standardize clinical documentation and order sets.
- Coordinate health information exchanges (HIE) and clinical decision support (CDS) rule optimizations to enhance patient care outcomes.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of healthcare informatics experience within hospital networks or health systems.
- Mastery of healthcare data interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and clinical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED).
- CPHIMS or Epic/Cerner credential strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Informatics, Nursing Informatics, or Healthcare Administration.
